A fan favorite in Baton Rouge, LSU first baseman Cade Beloso has made an impact for the Tigers throughout his time with LSU. After playing in 62 games in his freshman year in 2019, Cade has continued to contribute throughout his time with the Tigers.
Cade was a star at John Curtis Christian School in River Ridge, La, as he guided his team to back-to-back Division 1 Louisiana State Championships. After deciding to stay in Louisiana, Cade has played a key role for LSU in his career there. Making an impact both on and off the field, Cade’s service and heart for others are what will be remembered most as his time with LSU winds down.
Cade says that his faith has been key to overcoming obstacles throughout his journey on the diamond. Growing up in a faith based home, Cade says that his brother played the biggest role in his faith journey. He credits his brother, Chais, who also played college baseball, for showing him what is most important and learning to always live for others. As Cade prepares for his last few games in college baseball, he says that he could never have done it without faith.

As Cade and the Tigers prepare for a battle tonight against Tennessee to fight off elimination, Cade knows that whatever happens, God is in control. While he wants more than anything to take home a championship, Cade says he is most grateful knowing he is loved regardless of his performance on the field.
“Whether things in life and baseball are good or bad, I know God loves me and I’m immediately at peace when I’m reminded of that.”
As LSU fans rally around Cade and the Tigers, his infectious energy, joy, and service will be remembered most. With his last few college games coming up, Cade looks to take advantage of every second playing with his brothers at LSU. As they look to take home a Championship, Cade remains at peace regardless knowing that God is always in control.
