Jerand Bradley - Sense of Peace

In the world of college football, where the pressures and expectations are immense, Jerand Bradley, a wide receiver for Boston College, finds his strength and purpose in faith. I feel that it’s a blessing to be playing on this stage.”

Before making his way to Boston College, Bradley showcased his talent at Texas Tech. He had a breakout season in 2022, leading the Red Raiders with 51 receptions for 744 yards and six touchdowns. His impressive performance earned him a spot on the preseason All-Big 12 team and the Biletnikoff Award preseason watchlist ahead of the 2023 season. However, the following year Bradley finished the 2023 season with 36 receptions for 431 yards and four touchdowns, and struggled to find the same consistency he had seen in 2022.

Despite these challenges, Bradley’s faith remained steadfast. He viewed these setbacks not as defeats but as part of a greater plan, helping him grow stronger both mentally and physically. The life of a Division I athlete is fraught with pressure, but Bradley has found a way to handle these pressures with grace.

“How I handle the pressures of being a D1 athlete, I just put all my stress and worry into God’s hands. Once you do that there’s really no pressure because with God anything is possible,” he shares.

By entrusting his worries to God and His plan, Bradley experiences a sense of peace and assurance. This faith-based approach allows him to focus on his performance without being overwhelmed by external expectations.

Beyond his personal journey, Bradley is deeply committed to making a positive impact on the youth. He aspires to be a role model, using his platform to inspire and uplift others.

“I hope that I can help impact kids to be better than me and to grow their faith with God and making sure that I can give back to the youth as much as I can on and off the field,” Bradley says.
