Justice Haynes - In God's Hands

The top running back in the state of Georgia in 2023, Justice Haynes announced to the college football world his commitment to Alabama on Sunday, July 17. As Justice considered where his future would take him, his list included some of the top schools in the country. However, Justice says that he put all his college decisions in God’s hands, where he felt led to the Crimson Tide.

A star at Buford High School in Georgia, Justice has been one of the most coveted players in his class for years. As has grown up becoming a star on the field, he says faith was also always a priority and important part of life for him and his family.

“Faith has always been a part of my life. I grew up in a really faith based family. Faith has played a vital role in my life.”

Justice says that his faith has given him the confidence to know that each day is in God’s hands.

“I have faith in God each day and trust He knows what’s best for me.”

As Justice has experienced years of recruitment and long considered where his path would take him, he says his faith played an important role throughout the entire process.

“In my college search I put all my decisions in God’s hands. Part of the reason I waited to make a decision is because I have put it in God’s hands and trusted He would let me know when it is the right time to make a decision and where I should go.”

That time came Sunday, as he announced his plans to play for Nick Saban’s team in Alabama. As Justice prepares himself for his time with the Crimson Tide, he looks to use his gifts for something greater.

Justice says that throughout his life, he has learned that every person is equipped with gifts set apart for them.

“I believe God has a different race for us all to run and everyone should run their race.”

As Justice’s race has become football, he says that faith is what guides him every time that he takes the field.

“Faith is everything to me. Without faith I would not be in the position I am in today. Every morning I wake up and thank God for the countless blessings He continues to bless me with.”

ith just one year of high school remaining, Justice looks to make it the best one yet. With his plans for the future now clearer, Justice will look to use each play throughout the year to glorify God. Justice says that he knows the plan may not always go how he expects, but with a tight grip on faith and family, he trusts that he will wind up exactly where he needs to be.
