A commit for one of the top volleyball teams in the country, Callie Krueger can’t wait for the chance to suit up for the Texas Longhorns. A libero out of Cedar Park, Texas, Callie is already using her platform to inspire others and says that faith is at the forefront of everything that she does. For Krueger, faith wasn’t always a central aspect of her life. Raised in a Christian family, she recalls that attending church regularly wasn’t always feasible due to her and her older brothers’ sports commitments. However, as she matured, she took it upon herself to deepen her own journey. “It has not always been an important part of my life,” she admits. “But as I have gotten older, I made it more important on my own to help grow my faith. I started a bible study at home and try to go to church when I can now.” This deepening of faith has not only transformed Krueger’s personal life but has also become an integral part of her mission as an athlete. Krueger’s commitment to these goals is evident both on and off the court. As she prepares to join the ranks of the Texas Longhorns, she looks up to her future teammates not only for their athletic gifts but also for their strong faith. “While volleyball drove me to Texas, I also loved seeing how much the girls put their faith into the sport,” she says. “I look up to them and aspire for my faith to be like theirs one day. I love how they use their platforms to share their faith, and I want to be like that too.” For Krueger, volleyball isn’t just a game—it’s a platform to inspire, uplift, and share her faith with others. As she embarks on the next chapter of her athletic career, she carries with her the belief that with God by her side, there’s no limit to what she can achieve. In her journey from Cedar Park to Austin, Callie Krueger is a testament to the power of faith and perseverance.
