A native of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Cam was given the chance to play for her hometown team out of high school. Growing up in Mansfield, Cam says that her family always made sure faith was also an important part of life for her and her siblings.

“Faith has always been a huge part of my life. My family has been active members at the same church since 2004. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. My Christian faith is very important to me. It is part of who I am and it helps me put things into perspective.”

Cam says that perspective has allowed her to thrive on the soccer field, as she hopes to take advantage of her gifts to inspire those around her.

Cam says faith is what guides her in every area of her life. Whether in the classroom, at home, or on the soccer field, she says her faith plays a constant role through it all.

“Faith plays a role in my life because no matter where I am or what I’m doing, I know God is right there with me. Every time I step onto the field, I thank God for this opportunity to play the game I love.”

Cam also says that her faith has taught her to be gracious in all circumstances, trusting God’s guidance regardless of what happens on the field.

“God has a plan, and trusting him allows me to embrace anything that comes my way.”

After a breakout year for the Horned Frogs in her freshman season last year, Cam has quickly become a Fort Worth fan favorite. As she has seen her role grow with TCU to now becoming their star forward, Cam says she hopes she can use every chance she gets around the game of soccer to inspire whoever may be watching.

“I hope to inspire others to be bold and to have the courage to overcome their fears. To remember that God has given them a gift and to use it to the best of their ability because with God all things are possible.”

With a bright future ahead of her, Cam says she hopes to continue to develop both on and off the field throughout her time at TCU.

As the Horned Frogs gear for a highly anticipated 2022 tournament, they will do so with Cam as one of their leaders. With a focus on gratitude and trust, Cam says she hopes to continue to make an impact with the Horned Frogs every chance that she gets. With the pride of representing her hometown team, she says she hopes to always give back and inspire others to chase their dreams.
